User referrals

Customers can earn referral funds to their wallet for inviting other customers to sign up for a wallet. Every customer comes with an auto-generated referral code. To claim a referral code via API, use the claim user referral or create customer endpoint.

Set up referral settings

• Use the update merchant API. Choose either create_user or add_balance to trigger the credit redemption.
  • Create user credits both referrer and new user on new user sign up
  • Add balance credits both referrer and new user when the new user adds balance to their wallet.
• You can also update these settings in the Merchant Portal by navigating to Incentives > User Referrals.
