Disputes, also called chargebacks, happen when a cardholder contests a payment with their issuing bank.

Disputing Ansa balance payments

To request a refund for a payment made from their balance, customers should contact a merchant customer support. Transactions within the Ansa closed loop ecosystem cannot be disputed.

Disputing add balance transactions using customer payment method

Customers can dispute or charge back reload transactions (for example, due to fraudulent activity). When this happens, the card network will reverse the payment, and this reversal of funds will be reflected in Ansa. Please note that additional fees may be incurred for chargebacks by your payment processor, but Ansa does not charge any additional fees in this regard.

Ansa is not responsible for managing chargebacks. You can review and respond to disputes using the process established by your payment processor, which can also be used for other transactions outside of Ansa.

Ansa will reconcile the disputed transaction with your payment processor and handle it internally. This will adjust your customer balance and the disputed amount will be included in your future payouts.
