Settlement Types
Settlements from the Ansa-managed bank account to external merchant bank accounts can take one of two forms:
- Standard Settlement, where revenue is settled out on a regular schedule or upon merchant request
- Advanced Settlement, where revenue and a portion of users' added balances are settled out on a regular schedule
Advanced Settlement
When enabled, Ansa offers merchants an advance on a portion of user funded wallet balances. Settlements are made on a weekly basis to the external bank account you've configured with Ansa.
How much will be settled?
Advanced settlement amount is based on the amount your customers have loaded into their wallets. Ansa will retain a portion of available funds to cover refunds, chargebacks and in store transactions. Your implementation manager or customer success manager can provide the details for your specific case.
New Ansa merchants are not immediately eligible for Advanced Settlement. If you're interested in enrolling in advanced settlement, please talk to your Ansa contact.
Standard Settlement
By default, Ansa merchants are settled on a weekly basis. Settlements are made on a weekly basis to the external bank account you've configured with Ansa.
How much will be settled?
Standard settlement is your net revenue for the week. This is calculated by netting incentives, refunds, chargebacks and pass through payment provider fees from the amount users spent from their wallet balances.
Understanding your settlement
Ansa offers a number of Reporting options to help you understand your settlement. You can view financials at a monthly or weekly level, and export a CSV report of individual transactions.
