Risk management
Ansa’s risk monitoring system evaluates wallet transactions for potential fraud. If a transaction is identified as high risk, it will be proactively blocked before being sent to your payment processor. High-risk indicators may include unusual spending behavior, irregular funding patterns, or activity from abnormal locations.
Our risk evaluation system reviews two types of Ansa wallet transactions.
- Add Balance: An
add_balancetransaction charges the user payment method to fund a user’s balance. Our system assesses for any abnormalities and payment risk. Your payment processor will also assess the transaction for risk. Please review your transaction risk settings with your payment processor as Ansa is not responsible for any fraudulent activity related to funding wallet balances. - Use Balance. A
use_balancetransaction moves funds from a user’s balance to your merchant account. Our system assesses for any abnormalities in this transaction.
Blocked payments
Payments which are blocked for being high risk will return an error message of risk_error . If you believe a blocked payment is legitimate, you can request that we lift the block. Please note that this will not automatically retry the original transaction, however it will enable the customer to make future payments without being blocked.
We are committed to continuously improving our risk evaluation system to provide better protection for our merchants and customers.
Ansa is PCI-DSS compliant and is currently in the audit window for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
